[fade]I have an outstanding belief that making photographs is what I was called to do. A decade later, I am still in love with telling stories. [/fade]

I am a documentary wedding and family photographer as well as am editorial photographer based in Kansas City. I am also an educator over at HAVE HEART.

[fade]At the core of my work, you will find light, connection + composition—a few of my core values as an artist. From there, I seek out honest storytelling with a more cinematic approach, heart—first documentation.

My inspiration stems from genuine connection, human form, natural light, minimalism, fresh air, togetherness, vulnerability, earth tones, film, desert, tonality, human interaction, architecture, foggy days, vintage cars, backyard gatherings, misty rain, windblown hair, imperfections, movement, visual poetry, blue hour — a fresh perspective and so much more, inspiration is everywhere.

I find beauty in the silly moments, the mundane, the everyday. I discover wonder, whimsy and honesty from the life you are living and all that surrounds you.[/fade]

[fade]Traveling is my greatest form of inspiration, always. It leaves me feeling refreshed, recharged, and with stories to tell.[/fade]

[fade]I am a left handed, freckled, 8w7, enfj, extroverted introvert — a humbled and honored witness to your life and what’s happening in the time that we have.

I live in a mid-century home with my husband, Ben and our dog, Sully. We are currently making our house a home which fills me to the brim with joy.
