The Leachman Family

Kassie reached out, wanting to document this season for her and her family— a pivotal growing point for each of them. 

We explored the lake shore in Chicago on a gorgeous day in June where we dipped our toes in the sand, sat and ate market fresh sandwiches, cherries + peaches and just enjoyed the ocean air and the start of summer and wow, this family captured my heart. 

Not to mention, the tones were some of my favorite to date. 

Edie’s teeth. Gus’ lashes, and ability to eat an entire sandwich in one sitting. All of the quirks and in-between moments, plus the cinematic vibe.

I tried to shoot a bit of this session from a child’s perspective and I hope it resonates with you.
