back in may, i photographed a beautiful visual diary at green dirt farm in weston, mo.
the diary was inspired by scenes of summer, femininity, lush greens and beautiful pieces from one of my favorites, shop doen.
i had a talented group of women alongside me who made this editorial come to life -- styling + muah: lynn magelli, model: julia zukus, videography: gold hairpin films and location: green dirt farm.
also, brace yourselves for the teeny tiny baby sheep! i had never seen a black and white spotted sheep until this shoot and they were so fun to work with.
below you'll see a short film that keera created for this shoot and it's absolutely magical - shot all on 8mm film.
back in april, i collaborated with a few women on a spring editorial inspired by natural elements, a free environment, tall grasses, palms, blue skies, spring and a bit of whimsy.
introducing, fields of dreams.
i've been working with my gal, laura of bride kc for a couple of years now and every time we finish a look book or styled shoot, i think "this is my favorite." she's amazing at what she does and together, i feel as though we represent the same bride - the non-traditional, effortless, minimal, ethereal, feminine, edgy bride.
for this look book, we photographed in the new wedding venue, la villa which was an absolute dream and perfect for this shoot.
also, summerhouse was a part of our team again (they collaborated with us on the very first look book) and created an amazing video, check it out below.
so excited for this ss look book launch, enjoy .
here is the video that the talented guys over at summerhouse put together for this project -
it was a goal of mine in the new year to pursue personal projects, collaborate more and challenge myself creatively.
this shoot is a great start for me.
i've been meaning to work with my gals at shop dear society, a modern & vintage shop here in kansas city. molly, a kansas city native turned australian model was in town for the holiday and we knew she would be the perfect muse model for our visual diary.
a visual diary consisting of -
monochromatic elements, beautifully painted florals, dewy makeup, power suits, dainty vintage pieces, a rattan chair and a touch of modern.
a huge thank you to our amazing all-women team especially my friend, chanel for planning and executing this dream shoot with me.

i attended heck yeah photo camp a couple of weeks ago in joshua tree, ca. it was a magical experience and something i won't ever forget - a great time to become inspired, gain a new perspective and connect with other creatives who are wondering the same thing, who are after what i am after and who are connected to people and places the same way that i am.
thank you to ben + katch, the lineup of photographers who poured their hearts out and to new friends -
here are some photographs from my time there.
a few weeks ago, i spent a little time with my dear friend, sami in her mid-century inspired home. she put on andrew bird and showed me a few of her favorite things. sami went through her daily routine which includes a slow start in bed, putting on a great record and getting ready with her favorite skin-care line, glossier.

i spend most of my days at home since it's where my office is. i always start the day off with a cup of coffee and a chapter or two in the whichever book i am currently reading. i'm finding so much value in taking at least the first thirty minutes of my day to enjoy the quietness. the rest of my slow day at home would include, playing with banjo (of course), small home projects, gardening and having friends over to sip on wine and spend a cozy evening indoors.
kinsey's home is so beautiful, warm and inviting. i instantly felt like our aesthetic's and home inspo were very similar.
i find inspiration between natural elements - wood, metal, plants, neutral colors - and inspiration from the era in which our home was built which was 1905. my husband and i have often romanticized the idea that so many different stories have been created here, lives experienced and childhood memories rest in this home. in the 70's, it was used as sort of a commune and our neighbor across the street rented a room on the third floor for many years. he's now in his 60's. i love that he hasn't moved from this street in decades, just homes.
my favorite treasures in our home are our photographs and art we have displayed. as a very visual person, my style is constantly changing and evolving, but photos and art are the few things i hold dear and would never get rid of.

here are some moments i shared with my sweet friend, kinsey + her husky, banjo .
adventure lies in gothic, co where the enders' family cabin sits mountainside. this is 'finding gothic'
back in may, some friends and i made our way west to gothic, co to film a documentary. my friend, tyler's family owns a cabin which was built in the summer of '77 in the quaint town of gothic. once we saw the sunrise at 5am, we made it to the cabin where we started settling in, taking in our surroundings and breathing in that crisp colorado air. we then hiked through the valley, saw plenty of fawns, and enjoyed each others company. the next day, we made our way into the town of crested butte where we rode horses through the aspens, hiked through national forests and did a little relaxing in the colorful town of crested butte.
on our way back to kansas, we stopped and shot on a few open roads with those amazing tones you dream of. we then entered the great sand dunes national park and reservation. one of the most picturesque places i've ever seen.
i am so grateful to have talented friends who are as eager to adventure as i am and thankful for this time spent in such a beautiful place. be sure to check out the documentary which was filmed by andrew shepherd and austin goldberg, edited by nathan eaton, featuring myself, tyler enders and chante gossett.
+ a short 'gothic' preview made by andrew shepherd.
