2016 is the year of collaboration.
i have made it a point to start collaborating more with kansas city artists, makers, shop owners, dreamers, doers, explorers. with that said, a styled shoot has been in the works and ever since laura opened bride kc in the crossroads, i have been dreaming of photographing in her space.
as told by laura, BRIDE was inspired by the confident. those who won't settled for the traditioal. life lovers. those who don't like all the fuss. who think outside the box. the passionate. the up + coming. the romantic. the effortless. the refined. the creative. the gypsy soul. the chic. the free spirit. the vintage. the discerning. the dreamers. the doers. even the anti bride. we could go on forever, but are guessing by now, you get the picture. while we might not carry the most gowns in town, we have tirelessly crafted a bridal capsule full of independent, creative, and emerging designers that we think you'll find very refreshing, very you.
the boho aesthetic, crisp white walls, the blue velvet couch, the gold mirrors, the wall hangings. all of it. it was all matching perfectly with my aesthetic and brand.
so one morning, we created a styled bridal shoot with the beautiful, alison peck and hair by the talented, jamie miller of the hair parlour kc. i had such an amazing team and everything turned out beautifully. here are some of my favorites .
